Alex Job Racing sponsored by WeatherTech has released its driver line-up for the 2013 Grand Am Rolex 24 at Daytona. Unsurprisingly, it is a list of all-stars: Cooper MacNeil, Jeroen Bleekemolen, Damian Faulkner, and Marco Holzer.
MacNeil is the 2012 American Le Mans Series GTC champion; Bleekemolen, who brought the AJR Porsche home second in the 2012 Rolex, is a two-time ALMS GTC champion who won P2 at the 2008 Le Mans 24.
Damian Faulkner earned three ALMS wins in the past two seasons after winning the British Porsche Cup twice and sharing the title three times. Marco Holzer is a Porsche factory driver who won five International GT Open races in 2012.
“We have a lot of Porsche experience and speed in the car for this year,” said team owner Alex Job on the team website. “Neither of the four drivers has won at Daytona, which I think is a real motivator for these young guys. It doesn’t get much better than this at Daytona. We have a lot of expectations for late January.”
The 2013 Grand Am Rolex 24 takes the green flag on Saturday, Jan. 26. Visit Grand-Am.com for ticket information.
