AJ Lee Photos on Twitter Are Probably Fakes

A photo that was going viral on social media Thursday is purporting to be of WWE diva AJ Lee.

Users said the image was posted via “The Fappening” subreddit that appeared this month, which has been partially responsible for the slew of nude celebrity images that have appeared online. After that, the alleged Lee picture was then being shared on Twitter.

But many have said that it’s a fake. “The rumored AJ Lee ‘fappening’ photo is fake,” one person wrote on Twitter on Thursday after it was spread around.

According to WhatCulture, “Some fans are already questioning if this is actually AJ. The face looks a bit different, but then again, she is posing with a tilted angle. There’s also the hip tatoo, something which we haven’t seen on WWE television. However, the tattoo appears to be under the hipline, so that could be why we’ve never noticed it before.”

WhatCulture reported that the news was first discovered by Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer.

Meanwhile, other Twitter users have said the photo is old.

The rumors come as Punk is reported to be in a WWE film, according to WhatCulture. The movie is called Queens of the Ring.

The movie will be available as a digital download and a DVD on Nov. 11.

Earlier this month, CM Punk’s lawyers sent a 22-page letter to the WWE about the non-payment of royalties. The WWE has continued to use his image and name, namely in WWW 2K15.

“As we originally noted, the discrepancy stems from WWE feeling CM Punk was in breach of contract when he quit the company this year, and therefore WWE feels they do not owe him anymore money. It should also be noted that Punk’s 22 page letter sent to WWE is not a lawsuit, it’s simply an attorney sent letter regarding what Punk feels are owed monies,” wrote Nick Pagino of WrestleZone a few weeks ago on the matter.
