Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, was sidelined with an apparent collarbone injury on “Monday Night Football” against the Bears. He was sent to the locker room to get X-rays. Seneca Wallace was in the game for Rodgers.
UPDATE: NBC reported that Rodgers may have injured his collarbone and will not return to the game.
The Chicago Bears’ Shea McClellin sacked Rodgers and he was seen on his back for a while before he got off the field.
“Aaron Rodgers headed to the locker room with an injury,” reported ESPN.
“QB Aaron Rodgers jogging off field to locker room. Was getting looked at on sideline following sack,” the Packers tweeted.
Rodgers took a hit during the first quarter.
He was seen getting medical treatment on the sideline.
Wallace was picked up by the Packers this season. He was drafted in 2003 and last played for the Cleveland Browns.
On his first series, Wallace threw an interception to Bears defender Julius Peppers.
