1. Project Gutenberg
Project Gutenberg is a renowned source for free eBooks, and with over 49,000 to offer, it’s a place you should definitely be checking out from time to time. There are different books from a ton of genres. You can find classical stuff from authors like Jane Austen, Agatha Christie and the likes.
Books are available in different formats such as pdf, epub, Kindle, and in some cases audio books. You can get strated with Project Gutenberg by searching for a book by name, author or category or simply browsing through their top 100 list if you’re not sure where to start.

If you’re more interested in getting free textbooks or books about business and marketing, then Bookboon probably has something for you. You need a to sign up for a Free-ebooks account to access their collection. However, registration is free.

The free section of Google Books features lots of free books in several formats, and you can also check each book for user reviews and ratings. These books will be stored in the cloud. That means you will be able to access them from any of your devices whether they are mobile or PC.
6. Open Library
Open Library is an online ebook catalouge with over a million books available. It’s an open project which means users can contribute books and other information to the catalog. There are books you can download freely, while others can be borrowed and read via Adobe Digital Editions.
