50 Cent Takes You ‘In Da Hostel’ ‘MTV Cribs’ Style

Rapper-turned-actor 50 Cent has a lot more up his sleeve than you may think.

In a new campaign ad for Hostelworld, which promotes a cheaper way of traveling, 50 cent, now 40, plays a tour guide at a Barcelona hostel.

The parody, titled “In Da Hostel,” (also comes from his 2003 hit “In Da Club”) is based on MTV Cribs, a show where the rich and famous would showcase their extravagant home.

The rap mogul opens the door announcing, “What’s up, it’s 50. Partial owner. Welcome to the hostel.”

According to the Guardian, the TV ad campaign was created by ad agency Lucky Generals.

“We are so happy to have converted 50 Cent into a hosteller – he’s found the best way to live like a millionaire without having to part with crazy amounts of money in the process,” said Hostelworld chief marketing officer Otto Rosenberger.

“We look forward to welcoming the rest of the world’s music elite at our hostels very soon,” he said.
