Two earthquakes hit California’s Bay Area on Tuesday night, Dec. 26, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A 3.9-magnitude quake hit at around 10:32 p.m. local time in Alum Rock, San Jose, and it had a depth of around 5.5 miles, according to the seismic agency.
