Police are searching for a man who allegedly is spying on children in a Miami Gardens neighborhood, according to reports.

Surveillance camera footage shows the suspect spying on children between the ages of 5 and 12, and police said that he has done it at least twice, CBS Miami reported.

“This is a sick individual,” said Miami Gardens Police Officer Carlos Austin. “We see that he’s taking pictures, video.”

Neighbors expressed concern over the footage.

“It’s very important that they catch him because I don’t want him to come to my window,” said a local, named Sylvaine. The CBS report said that the neighborhood has a number of children, and schools are located nearby.

The suspect was captured on camera at a home in the 1300 block of Northwest 198 Street, Local10 reported.

“I don’t want her to encounter with anyone like that,” Yvonne Hines, who has a daughter, told CBS.

“We want to take him out of circulation,” said Austin. “We want to arrest him. We want to take him into custody as soon as possible.”

According to NBC Miami, the suspect is described as a black male with a full beard.

People with information about the matter should call the Miami Dade Crimestoppers at 305 471 TIPS. Those who wish to remain anonymous can also call the Miami Gardens Police Department at 305 474-1510.

A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to the suspect’s arrest, Local10 reported.
