“Magnificent! It’s a show that really makes you dream. I am delighted!” he said enthusiastically. “So far, this first part of the show has been really, really fantastic. We were expecting a great show, but this exceeds our expectations.”
“These dancers have a perfect control of their movements, their gestures, the synchronization. It’s really perfect on that level!”
“This kind of show can only calm people, make them look at each other again, make us find each other again.”
Martine Heinrich, very moved, noted: “I think this generation of young people has a lot of merits to pass on this ancestral knowledge, this tradition of more than 5000 years and the courage to reveal to the whole world what the Chinese power does to all those people who just want to love God and want to perpetuate this love of the divine! I think they are really beautiful!”“Apart from that, it is true that the show is breathtaking—freshness, beauty, colors, harmony, and serenity. There is perfection in all the movements! Everything is harmony, everything is serenity. I wanted to cry, I was so moved! I also meditate, so I know what inner peace is. For me, it is divine. The show is divine!”
Frédéric Puzin is a retired national education inspector. His daughters gave him tickets to experience Shen Yun for his birthday.
“The show is magnificent, the dancers are extraordinary! The digital background is really well done,” he said, referring to Shen Yun’s patented animated digital backdrop.
Indeed, Shen Yun’s digital projection instantly puts you on the scene. Its website explains: “By extending the stage to infinite realms, the projection allows storytelling without limits. A Shen Yun innovation creates seamless interaction between projection and performers on stage—an invention so original it has its own patent.”“I think it’s very important to preserve traditions, whatever the country. And the Chinese traditions are particularly ancient. I think it’s one of the countries with the oldest traditions in the world.”
“It’s good, because they’re taking a step away from the official line that this is a country where everyone agrees with the power, the government. That people can live their religion quietly, I find that essential. To stand up for that faith is to bring tolerance and peace.”
For Mr. Sadoine, with Shen Yun, “We are outside of time! I just finished my week, these last weeks have been very difficult for me and then, poof, I forgot everything in one go! It’s true!”The show “can bring a reflection on the need for kindness around us,” he concluded.
