An 8-year-old Indianapolis child is in critical condition after getting attacked with possibly a sledgehammer, it was reported.
The Indianapolis Star reported that the child, who was not named,was hit on Wednesday in the city’s Eastside.
Initial reports said the child was hit with a sledgehammer.
The child was breathing and conscious, before being taken to Riley Hospital.
