Editor’s note: The Epoch Times publishes here direct translations of statements made by Chinese people who renounced the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliate youth organizations. Statements such as these are submitted to the Chinese language Epoch Times, Dajiyuan. The movement to renounce, withdraw from, or quit the CCP, called “Tuidang” in Chinese, began in late 2004, soon after The Epoch Times published the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party,” an editorial series that explores the nature and history of the CCP. The statements offer a rare and candid glimpse of history in the making. Chinese people are turning their backs on the Communist Party, choosing conscience over convenience, and are peacefully ushering in a future China, free of Party rule.
The following is a selection of “Tuidang” (quitting the Party) statements made by Chinese nationals on Oct. 15–17, 2012.

Quitting the Chinese Young Pioneers

I moved to Canada when I was a child, but I had already joined the Chinese Young Pioneers when I was in China. I was horrified when I heard that the CCP harvests organs from people while they are still alive. I want to quit the Young Pioneers and clearly separate myself from this rotten and degenerate CCP empire to save myself from going down with it.

Declaration of Withdrawal From the CCP and its Afflicted Organizations

After reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, I saw the disasters the Party has brought to mankind. For nearly a century, the evil Party’s horrendous policies have killed 80 million Chinese people. Its evil political campaigns destroyed 5,000 years of Chinese history, and made Chinese people become immoral, untrustworthy, and selfish. China is now a nation that other nations look down upon.

We now believe that only without the Party can there be a new China, a renewal of China’s 5,000-year-old culture, and blessings for mankind. We are grateful to The Epoch Times for this platform to quit the CCP.

We sincerely pray that every Chinese person’s conscience wakes up. Only when all Chinese people can step forward with a small step, can China leap forward with a large step. Wake up, 1.3 billion fellow Chinese, let’s completely abandon the CCP and find the bright future!

Declaration of Withdrawal From the Evil CCP

I am a veteran red army member who is over 90 years old. I knew the CCP was bad a long time ago. Now I get to experience quitting from the CCP. I am very happy to join the group withdrawing from the CCP, and separate myself from the evil CCP completely.

Declaration of Withdrawal From the Chinese Youth League

I am a child of a high-ranking CCP cadre. I know about the corruption of the CCP’s high officials, including my parents. I knew the CCP would be destroyed sooner or later, ever since my family sent me to Japan before June 4, 1989. Then my family immigrated overseas. I started to watch reports on New Tang Dynasty (NTD) Television when Bo Xilai’s case exploded. I admire that they dare to speak the truth. I asked NTD’s staff to help me quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

I Voluntarily Withdraw From the CCP and Will Help to Eliminate It

If I say I cannot recognize the true face of the CCP, it is because I live in its system. The CCP is too evil. In the summer of 2012, Liaoning was flooded and all the shoddy building projects were revealed. Those buildings were all paid for with the people’s hard-earned money.

Many members of my family have suffered at the hands of the evil CCP. My great-grandfather was starved to death in the 1960s. My grandfather was shot by the CCP. And my father suffered from silicosis due to his working in a mine.

Therefore, I want to take vengeance on the CCP and call on all the children of the two million landlords who were shot by the CCP to stand up against the CCP.

Three of us here announce our withdrawals from the CCP, Young Pioneers, and the Youth League.

Declaration of My Withdrawal From the CCP

I am a Chinese student studying for a Masters degree in the United States. I understand that the CCP persecutes Falun Gong in China and does evil things like live organ harvesting. The CCP continues to suppress freedom of speech. When American classmates asked me whether we are able to use Facebook in China, I really didn’t know how to answer. Although I said there were similar situations, I knew very clearly in my heart that there is no freedom of speech in mainland China. I joined the Youth League and Young Pioneers, and then, influenced by older relatives, I joined the CCP (as a preparatory member). Now I understand the true situation. I declare my withdrawal from the evil CCP and its affiliated organizations.

Quitting the CCP With a Determined Mind

I was tricked by the CCP committee chairman into joining the Party when I first started working. However, there was no vowing ceremony. Later I visited Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Macao as a tourist and got to see Jiang Zemin’s crimes publicized by foreign media. I felt I was deceived for so many years. I longed for other countries’ political system, and freedom of thought and speech. Yet, we are poor people that have no ability to immigrate overseas. I can only quit from this evil and hypocritical organization!

Declaration of Withdrawing From the Chinese Youth League

The evil CCP made up lies in books, and through these deceptive teachings, students in China are not able to distinguish good from bad. All of what it teaches is evil thought; it trains people to be corrupt and violent from a young age. Now China has more manmade disasters than natural disasters. The CCP is a specter from the West and it persecutes the Chinese people and people around the world. I am not going along with this evil. I declare my withdrawal from the CCP and its affiliated organizations to avoid disaster and be safe.
