Three levels of the Palm Beach airport were closed on Saturday due to a “beeping package,” causing flight delays, according to reports on Saturday.

Florida’s WPTV reported that levels one, two, and three of the western part of the airport were closed down.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office told the station that the area for Silver Airlines was also closed down.

They said that flights are not being allowed to depart the airport.

PBSO Officer Eric Davis told WPTV that a “beeping” package is being investigated.

Spokesperson Sandy Davis to The Palm Beach Post that the package “needed more investigation.”

The ticking portion for Silver Airways was cordoned off.
